The Havering Dodgeball League gets underway in earnest on January 27 - and you can be a part of it.

The sport was popularised by the 2004 Hollywood blockbuster starring Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn.

It is a fun and fast sport which keeps you fit and players on opposing teams seek to eliminate one another by throwing balls an hitting opponents.

The league runs for seven weeks from Monday, January 27 at Abbs Cross Centre, Abbs Cross Lane, Hornchurch, from 7pm to 8pm.

If you would like to enter a team in the league please email mike@wingersportacademy.com or peter@wingersportacademy.com for an entry form.

There is also a free taster session the previous Monday (January 20) to see if it is the sport for you.

It takes place between 7pm and 8pm at the Abbs Cross Centre.

To take part in the league costs £25 per team per week and there is a £20 entry fee.
