The Sunday Trios League at Rollerbowl, City Pavilion went right down to the wire at the weekend.

Five of the six places were still up for grabs in the scratch and handicap leagues, with only scratch champions Phat Bs decided three weeks ago.

They rounded off a record breaking season with 258 points, the highest in the league’s 25-year history.

Pinpals were runners-up and Clappers finished third, just two points back.

Alley Gators won the handicap title, ahead of Angry Birds and Misfits.
