Lakeside Hammers gearing up for action

Elite League fixtures revealed

Lakeside Hammers will begin the 2016 season with a home meeting on March 18.

Final details of the opening fixture at the Purfleet Raceway are still to be revealed, but Jon Cook’s side know they will start their Elite League campaign with a trip to King’s Lynn on Thursday, March 24.

The Stars come to Essex the following evening, with Leicester Riders visiting on April 1 and defending champions Poole Pirates in town on April 8.

The squad includes Swedish duo Andreas Jonsson and Kim Nilsson, Danish rider Bjarne Pedersen, Pole Piotr Swiderski and British quartet Edward Kennett, Richard Lawson, Lewis Kerr and Robert Mear.
