Havering Cup: Marshalls Park 0 Redden Court 6
Redden Court’s year nine boys hit rivals Marshalls Park for six in their Havering Cup derby last night.
Having already beaten Chafford (5-1) and St Edwards (7-2), the Redden Court boys maintained their excellent start to the season on their travels.
The visitors expected a tough fixture against a traditionally strong Marshalls Park outfit, but ran out convincing winners thanks to two goals from Dan Parker and further efforts from Enoch Sangonile, Charlie Roberts, Jed Roofe and Connor Hartwell.
Teacher Darren Pendred said: “Jed was the star performer as he terrorised the Marshalls Park defence all afternoon.
“Dan continued his terrific goalscoring gorm and the defence also kept their first clean sheet of the season.
“It was a great performance all round.”
Redden Court: Charlie Haddon, Jack Duggins, Charlie Roberts, Daniel Ogoro, Chester Diwell, Daniel Francis, Jed Roofe, Stephen Banham Scott, Daniel Parker, Connor Hartwell, Enoch Sangonile, Jedsadaphon Thianphimai, Ross Barclay, Alan Goddard.
Christine Ohuruogu and Mo Farah have been nominated for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
