Coopers Coborn pupils ended the season on a high at the ‘Teddies Relays’ at St Edward’s, Oxford.

Junior teams of four raced around the vast school grounds, with each lap measuring 3k, and the boys’ A team finished first in 29.41 thanks to Frank Lewis (7.23), Harry Lewis (7.35), Zach Bridges (7.25) and Ollie Jones (7.15).

The B team of Noel Moore (7.55), Matthew Hick (7.46), Callum Basinger (7.58) and Finley Welch (7.23) were second in 31.04, with the C team sixth in 32.46 thanks to Jack Edwards (8.01), Harry Cossington (8.19), Tom Moran (8.32) and Ollie Yexley (7.53).

Stephanie Okoro (7.34) led the girls’ A team of Freya Long (7.59), Chloe Rand (7.48) and Natalie Sewell (7.27) to victory ahead of B teamers Holly Bradley (8.11), Freya Higginbottom (8.40), Isobelle O’Connor (8.31) and Hannah Yexley (9.22).

The C team of Gabrielle Purdie, Evie Gadsdon, Sophie Hart and Olivia Boachie were fifth.
