The under-12s played twice against their Essex rivals and ran out winners on both occasions

Romford & Gidea Park’s under-12 enjoyed their trip to Westcliff last weekend.

The Crow Lane youngsters played two matches and ran out 11-2 and 10-1 winners.

Warren Petrie was the star of the first game, scoring four tries by the seaside.

Kyian Jefferey and Brendan Burgess also both grabbed braces while Nathaneal Judd, William Huntingford and Freddie French crossed over on a cold, winters morning.

Burgess continued where he left off in the second game, but this time he completed his hat-trick in a 10-1 rout.

Finlay McKeown, Judd, Huntingford, Petrie, French, Ben Okonkwo and Albert Puddyford also grabbed tries for Park.

It concluded another great morning for the Romford under-12s and they continue to develop encouragingly.
