Friday night tips
It’s another Friday night open-fest at Romford this week, but the best bet of the evening might come in the top grade A1 contest at 9.06pm.
In Shuffleanddeal trainer David Mullins has a terrific youngster who has just found trouble when upped in class recently but any dog who can do 24.14 when considered a strong sort, not an out-and-gone merchant, needs respecting.
The safe haven of the rails might help the red box set up a rousing finish tonight.
Other bets catching the eye are Millstreet Lar (10.26pm), who has the draw to excel and reverse form with Sharons Return, while Borna Monty (9.56pm) was value for a more impressive win latest and is a pup on the move with a dashing burst of early pace to seal the deal.
With no Sequential in the field tonight, Fancy Socks (9.24pm) might strike in the bitches’ contest having shown signs of a form revival in his previous race.
