Kick-off the new year with a fantastic card at Romford tomorrow night, just a week away from the start of the first major event of 2013, the Coronation Cup.

However, take Billymatt (7.31pm) to register our first win of 2013 by reversing form with Monleek Town in the opening sprint, with the latter unlikely to get away as quickly as he did last week. Slick Sleek looks the biggest danger here, mind.

Coronation Cup form is, however, very much in the mind at 8.34pm where Bansha Mo can confirm the promise of a good run over C&D on Essex Vase final night, while Wajas Trump (9.06pm) could get first run in a tidy race against Borna Monty and Rio Minstrel.

A cracking bitches’ race looks set to see Blue Glenard (9.24pm) improve on a good comeback win last week after a fortnight off, while Joe Bones (9.40pm) looks well drawn with railing Jaguar Jim inside.

Finally, take Rockview Sail (9.56pm) to cut loose over 575m against improving Ballycowen Meg and Sharons Return (10.11pm) to go one better than last week’s good run behind Isheforreal, who reopposes.
