Raiders under-13s made it three wins out of three in South Division Three this season with a 6-3 success over Haringey at Romford’s Sapphire Ice & Leisure Centre last weekend.

Brynley Capps gave them an early lead, but the visitors hit back with a shorthanded goal to level, then went 2-1 up early in the middle period.

Raiders were back on terms thanks to a power play goal from Riley Parker and Capps netted again as the sides traded goals to make it 3-3 at the second break.

A power play goal from Zara Berwick put Raiders in front, with Capps scoring twice more to seal the home side’s hard-fought victory and complete a quickfire double, following their 9-5 success over the same opponents at Alexandra Palace a week earlier.

Raiders are due to visit Oxford on Saturday, while the under-18s host Invicta on Sunday (6pm), looking for a third straight win after beating Swindon (23-0) and Invicta (13-0) already.

The under-15s play their third match at Cardiff on Sunday week (October 14).
