Everyone Active Raiders have announced Finnish duo Timo Kauhanen and Jani Lehtovaara for the Legends team to take on the current squad on August 26.

Kauhanen and Lehtovaara have both been added to the roster and will join the likes of Chris Douglas, Alan Blyth, Grant Taylor, Scott McKenzie, Tari Suwari, Shaun McFadyen, Richard Tomalin, Jon Beckett, Jason Buckman and Craig Britton in the line-up for the showpiece match at Romford’s Sapphire Ice & Leisure Centre.

Kauhanen spent five seasons at the club and became a fan favourite during his time in the gold and blue.

He originally joined the club in 1996/97 season and picked up 84 points in 30 games in his debut season.

The 43-year-old went onto to make 143 appearances in total, scoring 86 goals and picking up 156 assists for a total of 251 points.

Joining him on the roster is fellow Finnish import Jani Lehtovaara who spent three seasons with the Romford Raiders.

The defenceman joined ahead of the 1999/00 season and then went onto to make 91 appearances, netting 35 times and picking up 44 assists for a total of 79 points.
