Toolis part of six-strong GB team travelling to Drzonkow this weekend

Romford’s Tom Toolis will be back Pentathlon World Cup action this after being named as part of a six-strong GB team for the event in Drzonkow, Poland.

Toolis, 24, currently trains at Bath NTC and was a bronze medallis at the 2014 European Championships Men’s Relay.

Joining Toolis in the men’s team will be Joe Choong and Jamie Cooke, while Samantha Muir, Jo Muir and Francesca Summers will represent the women.

The event in Drzonkow is the final competition of the four-stage regular World Cup season and is the final opportunity for athletes to gain World Cup points to qualify for the Final in Druskininkai, Lithuania at the end of June.

Drzonkow, the home of Polish modern pentathlon, has hosted numerous international events in recent years, including last year’s Junior European Championships.
