London Raiders will be back on home ice when they take on league leaders Basingstoke Bison tomorrow (5.15pm) at the Sapphire Ice and Leisure Centre.

The club will be taking to the ice for their third home match at their new home and they’ll be hoping to keep up their unbeaten start to life in Romford.

Sean Easton’s men sealed a 5-2 victory against strugglers Cardiff Fire IHC on opening night on Saturday, February, 3, before also edging out the Swindon Wildcats with a 5-4 win in penalty shoot-out on their first mid-week game in almost six years on Wednesday, February 7.

We caught up with forwards Olegs Lascenko and Brandon Ayliffe after the opening night as the pair, who both played for Romford juniors, got on the score sheet in the match.

Lascenko will go down in the Raiders history books after scoring the club’s first goal at their new home.
