Ruggles & Jeffrey extend sponsorship deal
Lakeside Hammers have announced Ruggles & Jeffery Ltd’s continued support for the club’s Community Programme.
The unique partnership began in 2011 and will be entering its third season.
Ian Jeffery, Managing Director of Ruggles & Jeffery, said: “The vision that the Lakeside Hammers have for their work is very inspiring and we’re delighted to be involved again as their Community Partner for a third year.”
Mark Sexton, Hammers Community Liaison Manager, is equally pleased that Ruggles & Jeffery are able to continue developing their involvement and believes the company is becoming synonymous with the club and its work in the community.
He said: “The Hammers will continue to make our ‘Kids for a Quid’ initiative a cornerstone of the Community Programme.
“We believe that ‘Kids for a Quid’ helps to make the Club as inclusive and accessible as possible and Ruggles & Jeffery’s support is vital in ensuring that we can continue to help families with children and youth groups to attend Speedway meetings at the Arena Essex Raceway”.
Hammers co-promoter Jon Cook was delighted to see Ruggles & Jeffery extend their relationship with the club and added: “Ian and his colleagues are a delight to work with and our Community Programme has been hugely beneficial to raising the profile of the club.
“This is great news to start the final run in to the new season and we have another extremely exciting announcement to follow next week from our Commercial Department, making for very exciting times for the Hammers.”
