West Ham will take on Romanians Astra Giurgiu in the play-ff round of the Europa League.

The two teams met in last season’s competition with the Romanians dumping the Hammers out after winning 2-1 at home in the second leg following a 2-2 draw at Upton Park.

It will give West Ham the chance for revenge for last season’s defeat with the first leg in Romania on August 18 and the return at the Olympic Stadium the following Thursday.

Victory would ut the Hammers into the group stages of the competition.
