West Ham United are off to Huddersfield Town in the Premier League Saturday, chasing a fourth successive Premier League game without a defeat.

Last weekend, the Hammers were held to a goalless draw at Shrewsbury Town of League One in the third round of the FA Cup.

Leyton Orient, meanwhile, head to the coast to tackle Bognor Regis Town of the National League South in the second round of the FA Trophy.

The O’s were beaten 1-0 at home to Bromley in the National League last Saturday – a third successive game without a goal for Justin Edinburgh’s men.

And Dagenham & Redbridge can enjoy a weekend off, with no competitive game scheduled for John Still’s side.

Daggers have endured a mixed week, beating Hartlepool United 4-2 on Saturday, before losing 3-2 against Boreham Wood on Tuesday night.

All this, plus Romford’s progress to the semi-finals of the Essex Senior Cup and the latest non-league news, is discussed on this week’s East London Football podcast.

Host Matt Withers is joined by Dave Evans, George Sessions, Ned Keating and Jacob Ranson.
