Leisure Leagues donate all the profits from competitive football league to charities and good causes

There are just two spots left in the official Brentwood six-a-side league and teams are being urged to sign up soon by Leisure Leagues, who run the tournaments.

At the moment it will cost just £1 to sign up for some competitive football played throughout the year.

The league is held at St Martin’s School on Monday nights and all matches are refereed by qualified officials while the required equipment is provided.

Leisure Leagues donates all the profits to charities and good causes too, so because of this, they insist the full match fee is paid to the referee each week.

Some of the charities which profit are Cancer Research UK, Dogs Trust and Blind Children UK.
