Adult males aged 16 and over who want to play football without committing to a structured weekly game can enjoy an informal ‘Kickabout’ on Monday evenings from next week.

The Robert Clack School in Dagenham is launching brand new FA Mars Just Play sessions on March 24, from 7-9pm, and the kickabouts are ideal for people with unpredictable timetables in their lifestyles.

There is no need to join a league or take care of a fancy team strip. It’s all about loose, sociable play with an FA-qualified Just Play organiser at an excellent local facility.

At Robert Clack it costs just £2 to take part, and you don’t have to be in a group or part of a team to join in.

The sessions are for all abilities and perfect for those who haven’t played in a while.

There is absolutely no commitment – some of the ‘Just Players’ attend once a month and others come along every week.

Individuals can get as involved in each Kickabout as they want as there is no pressure from the organisers or other players at each session.
