Men in Havering are being invited to try out an upgraded ‘jumpers for goalposts’ format of casual football at an FA Mars Just Play ‘Kickabout’ every Monday night from 7:30-8:30pm on the 3G pitch at Brittons Academy in Ford Lane, Rainham.

Just Play Kickabouts are ideal for people who want to play without committing to a weekly game, a complicated league or fancy team strips.

It’s all about loose, sociable play with an FA-qualified Just Play organiser at an excellent local facility.

At Brittons it costs just £2 to take part, and you don’t have to be in a group or part of a team to join in.

The sessions are for all abilities and are perfect for those who haven’t played in a while.

There is absolutely no commitment; some of the Just Players attend once a month and others come along every week.

Individuals can get as involved in each Kickabout as they want as there is no pressure from the organisers or from the other players at each session.

For more information on the Brittons Academy FA Mars Just Play kickabout, call Karen Heilbrunn on 01708 431742, email Karen.heilbrunn@havering.gov.uk or just turn up on the night.

Other kickabouts are situated all over the region, search for your nearest venue at www.thefa.com/my-football/justplay to book a place.
