Essex Senior Cup third round: Witham Town 0 Dagenham & Redbridge 4 (White 28, Ahern o.g. 45, Okenabirhie 61, 87)

A Fejiri Okenabirhie brace helped Dagenham & Redbridge cruise into the fourth round of the Essex Senior Cup with a 4-0 win at Witham Town.

Naming a strong side featuring plenty of senior players, Joe White opened the scoring for Daggers in the 28th minute.

On the stroke of half time, the Victoria Road outfit doubled their lead when Town defender Pat Ahern put the ball into his own net.

In the 61st minute, Okenabirhie netted his first of the net to put further distance between the National League club and their Bostik North hosts.

And three minutes from time, the Daggers winger doubled up to round out the scoring at Spa Road.

Witham: Jeggo, Anderson, Hayes, Gyebi (Bradford 74), Kemsley, Ahern (Akins 63), Ashford, Payne (Owusu 63), Osadebe, Davidson, Gyamfi.

Subs: Watson, Ronto.

Daggers: Moore, Nunn, N’Gala (Lee 74), Agboola, Pennell, Romain, Robinson, Sparkes (Mongoy 70), Okenabirhie, Bloomfield, White.

Subs: Chapman, Gallagher, Bonds.
