League Two preview: Dagenham & Redbridge v Mansfield Town

Daggers boss Wayne Burnett has doubts over new striker Christian Doidge going into the match after the 21-year-old picked up an ankle injury in the pre-match warm-up at Hartlepool United on Tuesday night.

Damian Batt is another concern with an adductor problem, while they continue to be without long-term absentees Billy Bingham (shins), Rhys Murphy (hip) and Zavon Hines (knee).

Winger Josh Clarke, signed on a one-month loan from Brentford on Friday, could be included on the Daggers bench following the loan departures of Sean Shields and Jon Nouble.

Mansfield Town will be without summer signing Liam Hearn after the striker underwent surgery on an injured knee, while Martin Riley (groin) is also out.

Speculation continues to mount over Sam Clucas’ future with the Stags after Chesterfield expressed an interest in the striker, but he is available for today’s match.
