West Ham United return to action in the Premier League on Saturday when they welcome fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur to the London Stadium.

The Hammers were without a game last weekend owing to the international break, but plenty of Manuel Pellegrini’s men were on national service.

Leyton Orient, meanwhile, will hope Saturday’s trip to Vanarama National League rivals Maidstone United is the start of a long run in this season’s FA Cup.

The O’s warmed up with the cup clash with a goalless draw at home to Hartlepool United last weekend, which kept Justin Edinburgh’s men in touch of the league leaders.

Dagenham & Redbridge, meanwhile, will want their FA Cup clash at Boreham Wood to offer some respite from a poor league campaign to date.

Peter Taylor’s men lost 2-1 at home to Wrexham last Saturday – a fifth straight loss in the league for Daggers.

All this, plus the latest from the Bostik Premier and below, is discussed on this week’s East London Football podcast.

Ned Keating is joined by Matt Clemenson, George Sessions and Jacob Ranson to give their take on another week in east London football.
