Daggers have won their last three in the division — their best run of the season to date

Defender Sam Ling is pleased results have started to pick up for Dagenham & Redbridge in recent weeks, but knows the wins have to keep coming in the National League.

Despite not having a game last weekend, Daggers are currently on their best run of the season, having won their last three games.

Prior to their current form, the only other time the Essex club recorded successive victories was in the opening two games of the campaign.

The recent triumphs have put John Still’s men back in the play-off places, and Ling is happy with how things have gone in the past few weeks.

“We’ve picked up a few good results, including a win over Dover who were then top of the league, and we’ve also been scoring goals,” said the 20-year-old.

“We’ve also not been conceding as many as we had been, so all round the boys are picking up a bit of momentum and confidence.

“It will be good for us over the next few games to keep winning, keep climbing the table and get to where we want to be.”
