Dagenham & Redbridge defender Scott Doe has agreed to terminate his contract with the football club by mutual consent.

The 29-year old was a regular for the club making 327 appearances over two spells, including the 2010 Play-Off Final at Wembley, and finding the net 15 times for the club.

He made his 300th Daggers appearance in the game at home to York City in March 2017.

The defender has been in and out of the line-up throughout the season due to personal reasons and was unavailable for selection in their latest 3-1 defeat to Solihull Moors at Victoria Road.

A club statement said: “Scott leaves with the club’s best wishes for the future.”

This follows a club statement earlier in the week from manager John Still revealing a decision will be made of the defender later in the week.

The departure will leave Dagenham very light in defensive options.
