Vanarama National League: Bromley 3 (Holland 57, 71, Raymond 90+1) Dagenham & Redbridge 1 (Howell 54)

Dagenham & Redbridge slipped to a 3-1 defeat at Bromley in the National League, despite taking the lead in the second half through Luke Howell.

The first half saw few chances, with the best perhaps falling to former Daggers midfielder Frankie Raymond, now turning out for the Ravens.

Raymond produced a powerful effort in the 12th minute, but former colleague Mark Cousins made a good save to keep the score level.

While the opening 45 minutes may have lacked goalmouth action, it just nine minutes into the second half before the Essex club opened the scoring.

Howell beat two Bromley defends before slotting home into the bottom corner to put Daggers ahead.

The Victoria Road outfit would only lead for three minutes, with Jack Holland producing a swift response for Bromley.

Holland was at the double in the 70th minute, heading the Ravens ahead from a corner.

The Essex club then conceded a penalty 10 minutes from time when Ben Nunn fouled former Daggers forward George Porter, but Cousins expertly kept the spot kick out.

Bromley, though, were able to nab a third when Raymond struck in the final minute of the game.
