Squad impress once again

Another strong performance from Havering’s aquathlon team ensured they finished in the medals for a tenth successive year with overall bronze.

Lois Wyatt (year 10 girls), Ben Davis (year 10 boys) and Oliver Bath (year nine boys) all won gold in their individual events, while Jack Ayling was fourth in the year 11 boys race.

Molly Bath was fifth in the year seven girls race, with Jack Rice eighth in the year eight boys event.

Havering finished fifth in the diving event, as well as the boys hockey competition, while the girls team had to settle for sixth after losing 1-0 to Ealing.

Hylands Primary School represented the borough in the Mini Para swimming event, having won gold in boccia in April.

And they were back to winning ways at Crystal Palace, claiming a total of 15 medals on their way to team silver.
