Romford Boxing Club host their first show of the new season at North Romford Community Centre in Clockhouse Lane, Collier Row on Saturday.

Junior Mason Carter, 16, is having his first contest at 66kg, with Jack Clements, 16, and Ethan Tisbury also in action at 65kg.

Senior boxer Paul Claydon Jr, 20, faces his 56th bout against a 32-year-old opponent from Sussex, while 34-year-old Scott Palmer is also representing the local club.

Steve March, also 34 years of age, is having his first contest in eight years, while 21-year-old Tim Olla is having a light-heavyweight contest on the show, with Ayo Barek in super-heavyweight action to complete the line-up of Romford boxers.

There will be another seven contests on the night to make it 15 in total, with doors opening at 6.30pm and boxing starting at 7pm.
