Brentwood pupil invited to compete at British Indoors

Brentwood School sprinter Nicole McKechnie has been invited to compete in the Sainsbury’s British Athletics Indoor Championships against the country’s top runners.

McKechnie, 17, will be sharing the stage with London 2012 Olympians when she takes to the track at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield for the 400m.

The championships, part of the hugely anticipated 2014 British Athletics Series, will be held on February 8-9 as Britain’s best go head-to-head for a place on the team for the World Indoor Championships in Poland in March.

A school spokesman said: “As a lower sixth student, Nicole is an exceptional all-rounder balancing her academic and athletic commitments.

“In the summer, she achieved 11 straight A*s in her GCSEs and is now studying English, Mathematics, History, French, Latin and Physics through the International Baccalaureate diploma.”

Having a brand new kitchen is something that lots of people want but can only dream of. Sadly keeping up to date and making our living spaces as nice as they can be is a costly and incredibly stressful business. Even a fresh coat of paint makes all the difference but isn’t easy or quick.

Who wouldn’t love the chance to go on a shopping spree. Imagine being able to walk into a shop and choose whatever your heart desires without having to worry about how much it costs.
