Children’s charity aim to raise funds with event at Eastbrookend Country Park in Dagenham

Children’s charity First Step are hosting a fundraising carp angling event at Eastbrookend Country Park on April 23.

Supported by the Bardag Angling Association, the competition will raise funds for the charity, who support babies or children with disabilities or special needs, and their families.

Prizes on offer in the competition include a season ticket for the Eastbrookend Country Park Fishery for both the front and back Chase lakes, a 48-hour ticket for the Eastbrookend Country Park Fishery and a Nash rod bag.

Entry for the competition, which will take place on The Chase (back lake) at Eastbrookend Country Park is £20 for one rod, or £25 for two rods, with 100 per cent of all rod fees and money raised on the day going to First Step.
