Christmas

Thursday, December 7, 2017

A packed weekend of festive fare saw friends and families across Havering attend Christmas events throughout the borough this weekend.

Christmas arrives in Havering in earnest this weekend, when two tight-knit communities host their annual festive fayres.

Does your cat don a Christmas hat or does your dog wear a Santa suit?

Christmas cheer was brought to the streets of Elm Park in droves on Friday night when the Mayor of Havering officially turned on the town’s festive lights.

The countdown to Christmas officially began in Hornchurch at the weekend as the tree was put up and the lights were switched on.

Hundreds of families gathered in Romford Market on Thursday for the annual Christmas lights switch-on we have all been waiting for.

A shopping centre is calling on the community to vote in its latest competition, where one lucky child will have their festive design hung on its Christmas tree.

As the festive adverts are gradually popping up on our TV screens and talks of present giving begins, we think it’s now OK to start talking about Christmas.

Having a brand new kitchen is something that lots of people want but can only dream of. Sadly keeping up to date and making our living spaces as nice as they can be is a costly and incredibly stressful business. Even a fresh coat of paint makes all the difference but isn’t easy or quick.

Who wouldn’t love the chance to go on a shopping spree. Imagine being able to walk into a shop and choose whatever your heart desires without having to worry about how much it costs.
