A motorcycle dealership’s most loyal customers will feel the wind in their hair thanks to a road trip.
Jack Lilley dealership, of London Road, Romford, which sells Triumph motorcycles, is taking customers to Gaydon, Warwickshire, for the Triumph Live motorcycle festival.
More than 30 enthusiasts will join riders from the dealership for the trip tomorrow (Saturday).
The RAT (Rides Association Triumph) ride is designed to provide a social event for customers to keep them engaged with the business.
Jack Tilley salesman and ride organiser Ken Kirby, 57, said: “A lot of dealers will sell you a bike and you get on with it. There’s nothing social, there’s no sharing that common passion.”
The rides give the Triumph enthusiasts a chance to explore what they would like to add to their motorcycles with accessories collections.
Mr Kirby, who said he sells at least one bike per ride, added: “It’s amazing, these are British bikes and there’s heritage to them. We’re more like the hub of a community.
“We have got a great amount of people who are riding for the first time.”
He is eager to get back on the road, adding: “I have been doing this since 1999 and the hairs on my arms still stand up.”
