A woman was cut from a car by firefighters following a road collision with another car in Upminster earlier today.

The accident occurred just before 12pm in Hall Lane, Upminster, and the London Ambulance Service, London Fire Brigade and Metropolitan Police were all called to the scene.

A spokesman for Hornchurch Fire Station confirmed they were called to an accident on the road at around 12pm, where they cut a woman from a car who was then taken to hospital for treatment.

The Metropolitan Police also confirmed they responded to calls of a collision between two cars at just before midday, and that both drivers were treated for minor injuries.
