The former defender, who currently manages West Ham Ladies, was meeting and greeting fans at Worldwide Signings in Romford Shopping Hall.

Dicks, who spent 10 years over two spells at the club, posed for photos, signed autographs and greeted supporters.

Shop supplier Chris Stowe said the store would be hosting other stars over the next few months, including former boxer Frank Bruno, ex-Spurs star Ossie Ardiles and Arsenal legend Ray Parlour.

For tickets to any signings, visit the shop or go to worldwidesignings.co.uk.
