A man was arrested this morning in relation to anti-Semitic messages on Twitter following the Tottenham v West Ham match on October 6.
An investigation had been launched after the Met received a complaint about the messages.
The 48-year-old man was arrested at his home in Canning Town on suspicion of inciting racial hatred in connection with an offensive tweet sent.
He was taken into custody at an east London police station where he was later bailed to return in January.
Previously a 55-year-old man from Hemel Hempstead was issued with a caution for malicious communications following his arrest on November 28 in connection with a series of anti-Semitic messages on Twitter following the same match.
