A van has overturned on the A127 this morning after a collision with a lorry.

Police were called at 7.22am to the scene following reports of a collision.

London Fire Brigade firefighters also attended to help a person trapped in a silver Volkswagen van that overturned.

The person did not sustain any life-threatening injuries.

The M25 entry slip road has closed and there is queuing traffic anticlockwise at J29, A127 in Romford.
