Update: Woman claims to have been sexually assaulted in Harrow Lodge Park, Hornchurch

Police are continuing to investigate an alleged serious sexual assault in the early hours of Friday morning.

Officers were called at 4.35am to Harrow Lodge Park in Hornchurch by a woman claiming she had been sexually assaulted by a man she had gone to the park with.

The investigation is being carried out by sapphire officers, who specialise in rape and serious sexual assault cases.

No arrests have been made.
