Emergency services were called after the brick wall in Warwick Close collapsed in at approximately 10.30pm yesterday.

The fire service assisted police in a search, which confirmed that nobody was injured.

Alan Anderson, 59, was visiting his daughter when the wall fell.

He said: “It was like a gas explosion. It was a loud bang.

“It was bad if someone had been sitting in a vehicle they would have been killed.”
