A six-year-old girl injured last week after she was in collision with a car returned to school on Monday.

The incident took place as the girl was leaving Hilldene Primary School in Harold Hill, on Friday, January 11, at 3.10pm.

An ambulance crew treated her injuries and took her to Queen’s Hospital, Romford.

The driver of the car, believed to be a blue Nissan Micra, stopped at the scene in Straight Road.

It is believed the youngster suffered cuts and bruises in the incident.
