Two cars collide with Gallows Corner lamp post

Police and ambulance crews attended a collision between two cars and a lamp post at Gallows Corner on Sunday.

The crash was reported to the police just after 12.30 on Sunday afternoon.

Russell Downs witnessed the event and tweeted: “Just saw a horrible crash at Gallows Corner.”

The London Ambulance Service did not take anyone to hospital and police said there were no injuries.

This was the second incident at the accident blackspot reported to the Recorder in a week.
