Three people were arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs and eight bags of cannabis were seized during an early morning raid.
Officers from Heaton and Gooshays Safer Neighbourhoods Teams forced their way into the address in Dryden Towers, Heaton Avenue, Harold Hill, arresting a 22-year-old man and two women aged 25 and 30.
Acting Police Sergeant Jon Learmouth of Heaton Safer Neighbourhoods Team said: “This was a very pleasing result and demonstrated to the law-abiding majority that we take the issue of drug misuse seriously.
“We do rely on intelligence from members of the public to tell us where these type of offences are happening and I would ask anyone with such information to ring their local SNT or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
The trio are currently on bail.
The husband of a police officer, who was left lying in a pool of blood after an unprovoked attack in a pub in Rainham, has said he has no memory of the beating.
