TRAVEL: Delays and cancellations on Greater Anglia services in to London

14:29 24 April 2014

Passengers are experiencing delays of up to 20 minutes this morning on Greater Anglia trains between Southend and Liverpool Street.

Greater Anglia tweeted that the delays had been caused by “disruptive passengers” earlier at Gidea Park.

A person on board a train at the station activated the emergency communications button meaning the driver had to stop and investigate causing a knock on effect of delays to services.

The matter is being looked in to by Greater Anglia.
