Commuters are facing delays this morning after a number of trains were cancelled between London Liverpool Street and Shenfield.
Greater Anglia, which operates the service, said there were delays on the line because of signal failures between Liverpool Street and Stratford earlier this morning.
It led to a number of services being cancelled including the 9.10am and 10.10am Liverpool Street to Shenfield; and the 9.14 and 10.04 from Shenfield to Liverpool Street.
Travellers may face delays of up to 15 minutes on other services on the line. Tickets can be used on alternative services until further notice.
The train operator said disruption is expected until 11am.
The husband of a police officer, who was left lying in a pool of blood after an unprovoked attack in a pub in Rainham, has said he has no memory of the beating.
