A teenage boy, believed to be 13 years old, has suffered a head injury after he was involved in a collision with a vehicle in Rainham last night.

London Ambulance Service (LAS) were called to the scene in Thorogood Way at around 8.20pm.

The victim was later airlifted to Royal London Hospital after he was treated at the scene.

An LAS spokesman said a single responder car, an ambulance crew and duty officer were sent to the scene.

A Wennington Fire Crew spokesman, who attended the scene, said the teenager had “been knocked down” by a car.

The spokesman also confirmed just one person was treated for injuries.
