The “suspicious package” found yesterday, which was being investigated by police, turned out to be empty.

Police were called at 2.14pm, after a suitcase was found underneath a vehicle in a medical practice car park in Astra Close, Elm Park.

The vehicle had a police aware sticker on it and the suitcase had been placed underneath.

Police’s explosive team attended the scene to find the suitcase empty.
