Residents can get fit while raising money for a good cause.
St Francis Hospice is appealing for people to take part in its Mud ‘n’ Madness challenge on Saturday February 9 at Stubbers Adventure Centre in Ockendon Road, Upminster.
The 7.5km challenge consists of a series of army style challenges over 1,500m, 800m on the water, a 1,400m run, river crossing, obstacle course, 2,400m run through a muddy course and more.

There is growing concern for the welfare of a young Hornchurch man who has been missing since last month.
