Pitch up at Romford Central Library on Tuesday and you can give your views about the future of St George’s Hospital.

The session, which runs from 2pm until 7pm, will see local GPs from Havering’s Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) fielding questions from the public.

The CCG, which formally takes over some of the local NHS budget on Monday, has put together a proposal for the site, which would see – among other things – a “centre for excellence” for older people, and a new polyclinic.

Tuesday’s drop-in is the second of two such public sessions.

Full details – and an online survey – can be found at http://www.haveringccg.nhs.uk/.
