Two iconic sporting retail brands are merging together to open a new megastore in Romford’s Market Place.

Sports Direct and USC hope to provide the ultimate shopping experience for customers, with a 29, 000 sq. ft. store opening in May in 30 - 16 Market Place.

The new store will replace Argos, which closed in July 2017.

A Sports Direct spokesman said: “We offer something for everybody and we’re very proud to open a megastore in a great location like Romford.

“The store is part of our commitment to developing elevated sports and lifestyle retail space, catering for greater integration of key brands.

“We are also excited that consumers will not be disappointed with our USC brands and it’s top designer labels.”

Fashion followers are invited to head to the USC area within the store which will feature top designer brands including Calvin Klein, Levi’s, Tommy Jeans, Lyle & Scott and Emporio Armani.
