The time has come to get the old brain cells working and share your memories of the theatre.

To complete the Diamond Jubilee Year celebrations, The Queen’s Theatre in Hornchurch is asking locals to submit stories, photos and memorabilia of the 60-year-old venue.

Maybe you saw a groundbreaking performance there, maybe you gave one - now you have the chance to submit your memories for inclusion in the Book of Celebration.

From its old cinema building in Station Lane, to the new purpose-built location in Billets Lane, the venue has been part of the fabric of the area since 1953.

Anyone interested in sharing their memories of the Queen’s can do so in any of the following ways:

-Emailing myqueenstheatre@queens-theatre.co.uk

-Tweeting @QueensTheatreH with #myqueenstheatre

-Sharing on Facebook /QueensTheatreH and tagging #myqueenstheatre

-Checking in on FourSquare

-Bringing any memorabilia to the Theatre in Billet Lane, Hornchurch, RM11 1QT

-Collecting and completing a form in the Foyer

The deadline for submissions is January 31.
