Commuters face long delays if they need to use the Central line this morning.

Due to a faulty train, which is being taken out of service at Mile End, westbound passengers have been told they might “experience a slight gap in service”.

A spokesman for Transport for London (TfL) said: “(There are) Severe delays to westbound service due to an earlier faulty train.”

Tickets are being accepted on buses.
