A £1,234 prize is up for grabs to mark the second anniversary of Saint Francis Hospice’s weekly lottery
The draw will take place on October 11 during Hospice Care Week with the bumper prize instead of the usual £1,000.
In the two years it has been running it has generated £500,000 towards services the hospice provides.
Esther Preston, hospice marketing manager, said: “Patients and their relatives often tell us what a difference the care and support we offer makes to their lives and is a comfort at a difficult time.
“By supporting the Saint Francis Hospice lottery you can make your pennies count and contribute to our work.
“Your £1 a week over a year would enable a patient to benefit from one hour’s nursing care. So this Hospice Care Week or even before why not sign up to our lottery?”
