Residents can help to raise awareness of homelessness by sleeping rough for the night.
The Romford YMCA is appealing for people to take part in the Sleep Easy event on March 1 at the centre in Rush Green Road.
The annual event sees people sleeping out in cardboard boxes to raise money for the YMCA’s homeless project.

Every 100 person to sign up to the challenge this year will also get a prize.
